I forgot to post a pic of my Executioner for Malifaux. Not much to say more that it was a fun miniature to paint and all in all done in two evenings.

Arjac Rockfist
Arjac Rockfist is done, I did most of the work on the back of him since last pic. Soon Njal stormcaller will be painted as well as some Woodies and Salamanders.
I have also started on The Guild´s Perdita for Malifaux (sometimes you just need a break to get back on track).
Less talk, more pic´s!

Cult of December
Since I will have one of my rare occations actually gaming this weekend I wanted to paint a new crew for Malifaux. I went for Rasputina and the cult of December. I didn´t spend more than 25-30h on the miniatures, and that´s including removing mouldlines, basing and so on. All in all I think that they turned out great and it will be fun to put them on the table this weekend.
I went for a rather limited palette, using the blue/turqouise color to bind them all together, it work´s for me at least.
And also a close up on Rasputina and the Ice golem. I glazed the Ice golem with toruqouise ink since the last pic, and I like the result. Seeing the picture I see that I was a bit cheap with some highlights, but it work´s for now.

Random WIP´s from my desk
Been a long time since my last post, but here is some random WIP´s. The kids have been ill for some day´s now so not as much hobbytime as I had planned. Hopefully that will turn around in a day or two.
First up is a WIP on a Deff dread that is part of a commission, it will also contain a Burna bommer. My planning say´s that these two will be done next week, and they will be done unless the sky falls down or something like that.
Next WIP to come is the base for Legolas who I will be painting after this commission.
When I finally get my camera out I snapped a picture of the diorama base. I haven´t painted anything on it for some time, but sometimes the projects need some time to "grow" and should be left alone for some time. I think this project is one of these.
I also got some basing material in the mail a few week´s ago so I built a base just to try it out a while ago. It took about 10 minutes of building time to get this look and about 20-30min of painting. But it still look´s great.

Sunday update
There haven´t been so much painting the last few day´s. I have a hard time with inspiration and motivation, but it will hopefully losen up sometimes soon.
I have a few pic´s to show you. First is an Ice gaming for the Rasputina crew (Malifaux). It was a fun miniature to paint, at first I had some plans of doing so much more on this little guy but then I started to do the base and after adding the snow... I kind of like it the way it is right now, I´ll think I´ll stop right here. For not at least;)
Second it´s a pic of my Death company´s with jump packs. They will be a part of my slowly growing Flesh tearers army for Wh40k. As soon as I decides that these little guy´s are done the army will consist of a brutal 11 models! 5 Scouts, 5 Death companys and Lemartes. I have 2 Razorbacks still in boxes, 1 Death company dreadnougth, 1 regular dreadnought, 5 Sanguinary guards, 1 commander and 10 tactical marines still to paint...oh and Astaroth of course! Enough babbeling and on to the picture.
As you can see in this picture I have given the sergeant his originally sword again. I never was compleatly convinsed about the sword from the sanguinary guards box. So I went stripping his sword again. This is the 5-6 times I break of his arme and glueing another one on him.
Hopefully there will be some more of both the Malifaux miniatures but also some Wh40k, Warhammer fantasy and it might even be some Warmachine miniatures showing sometimes soon.

New picture Chaos sorcerer and some WIPs
Today I thought that I would share some WIP´s on a few of my projects. But first is a new picture of the Chaos sorcerer (GW) that i posted some time ago.
'And some WH40k projects, first a WIP shoot on my Death companys with jump packs.
And I wanted to give them a Dreadnought as well, but I have always thougt that the Dreadnought´s looks to tiny and static. So I made him a bit bigger. Looks ok I think and hopefully it will look great once he get´s painted.
And at last...a WIP shoot of a Ice gaming from Malifaux. Still eraly in the progress, but if I´ll the find the "flow" I have a feeling that this one will be great.
That´s all for now...

Flesh construf for Malifaux
I painted my flesh construct for Nicodems crew (Malifaux) to gaming standard last night. This is how he turned out. The miniature is packed with tiny little details, and the end result was ok. I mixed a bit of green into he´s skin and the end result was a kind of rotten yellow skin. That I really liked. I fell like a kind of rush my Malifaux minis now since I´m really want to take them to a game (hate playing with unpainted minis). Next to come for Malifaux is some Necropunks and some Rotten belles. Then I will start to build and paint the Rasputina box!

Dr. Douglas McMourning
Last night I finished Dr. Douglas McMourning for Malifaux. This miniature was a test for me in many ways, it was the first time I have tried to paint bloodsplatter ona miniature using Tamiyas Clear red, and it was also the first time I tried to sculpt a base using greenstuff. Both of this things needs improvment, but with practise comes perfect.
Next to come is more Mindless zombies, Necropunks, a Grave spirit and a Flesh construct. And of course, in about a month the Games workshop annual painting competition in Scandinavia, the Fang is taking place. I will sure try to get at least one entry done for that. I even tries to compleate my Space wolves/tryanid diorama. time will tell!

Painting with a friend part 2
Last night it was time again for another painting session with my good friend Mr.L. As usual it was more about talking and hanging out than painting, but we had a blast with our miniatures, paints and brushes. I did finnish a Malifaux Vulture for Nicodem and I also started to paint Dr. Douglas McMourning. but that´s not all, did some work on my Space wolves/tyranif project. Pics to come in a few days, an week or so.
Here is our workplace, we actully sat there untill 4 o´clock in the morning.

Mortimer for malifaux
Last night I finished painting Mortimer for my Resurrectionist crew. So far Nicodems starter box is painted and one Mindless zombie. Still waiting for some paints are nicodems Vulture, a Grave spirit, two mindless zombies and three Necropunks. that should give me some miniatures to start with.
Here is the pic of Mortimer, I will probably try to take a phot of the enitre crew tomorrow.
I have not left 40k entirely, I have a Space wolves/tyranid diorama that will be done sometimes soon and a DKoK Deathraider coming up shortly, they just need that extra hour to be considered done.

Nurgle lord and some Malifaux
It was a long time ago I posted anything on the Nurgle lord/champion. Telling the truth that mini has been standing on my shelf for to long time and I kind of lost intrest in him. Today I cut out some plasticard to attach on his base. I started to paint these and I guess they need some more work, but it was a big step for me accepting that he will be done soon. I think I will give him about 1 h more some day. But for now he´s going back to the shelf.
I also brought a mindless zombie and Nicodem for my Malifaux crew to gaming standard. My goal there is to give my minis paint to gaming standard quick so I can bring them to the gaming table. I really hate to play with unpainted minis and in a strange way unpainted miniatures give me bad luck. I guss that´s the gaming gods telling me to paint more;)
I realize from the pic of the Mindless zombie that he looks rather messy out, that´s not really the case when holding the mini. But seeing this pic i might give him another 30minutes to make hime looks better.
And at last a WIP on Mortimer.

Malifaux update
I did some weathering on the Samurai punk zombies last night, and applied another glaze on there skin. Now they are in diffrent kinds of decay. Sadly the pic´s dont show that as much as I would have wanted it to. I´ll do some proper photos once the whole gang is done.
I also started on a Mindless zombie and did some more on Nicodem. Stay tuned for more updates in the next few days.

Ork kommandos and Malifaux WIP
I did some more painting on my Ork kommandos last night, I have started to highligt the yellow and the black. Also two kommandos have got a first highligt on the skin. My plan is that these four kommandos will be done in one or two evenings, then it´s time to do some Nob painting!
I also did some minir work on my malifaux gang, not so much painting as in a bit better pictures. still WIP´s but one week or so and they are ready to see the gaming table again.
Pic´s have been taken for the snowbase tutorial, it will be up shortly (I hope).

Trying Malifaux
During my entire life of wargaming/painting miniatures I have almost exlusivly painted miniatures from Games workshop. Sure I have tried out some Warmachines and I do paint on a miniature from Studio McVey at the moment but tat´s it. Yesterday I started to paint some minatures for the game Malifaux. this was the first time I did any painting on minatures from that game or manufacturere and I was stunned over the rich details on the minis, they proved out to be a real challange.Yesterday I started to paint Nicodem and he´s crew from the starter box.
So far the base color are at place and some shading have begun, I have started to highligt the zombie punks, but that´s pretty much it.
My plan is to have the entire lot, Nicodems totem in about a week. Since I actually planning to use these minis for gaming, I think I stop at TT quality.
